Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

AmcPal ("AmcPal", "we", "us") is a mobile app for air-conditioning, MEP and facility-maintenance businesses in the United Arab Emirates. It is built and operated by ZoltOps Technologies LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its registered office at 102/239, 2nd Floor, Muhil Vannam Pillai Street, Rajapalayam, Tamil Nadu - 626117, India.

2. Who this policy covers

AmcPal is a business-to-business (B2B) service. This policy covers:

• Account holders: business owners and administrators who sign up for AmcPal.
• Team members: technicians and staff invited to a business's AmcPal workspace.
• Visitors to this website, amcpal.app.

Businesses use AmcPal to store information about their own customers, such as names, phone numbers, site addresses, contracts and invoices. For that customer data, the business using AmcPal decides what is collected and why. We process it on the business's behalf, only to provide the service.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details, such as your name, email address, phone number and password or sign-in credentials.
• Business details, such as company name, trade licence or tax details, logo and the settings you choose.
• Business records you enter, such as customers, sites, AMC contracts, service jobs, schedules, job notes, photos, quotations and invoices.
• Messages you send to our support team.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical information needed to run the app, such as device type, operating system version, app version and a push notification token.
• Subscription status: which plan you are on and whether it is active. Payment card details are never shared with us (see section 6).

This website does not use advertising trackers.

4. How we use information

• To provide AmcPal: storing and syncing your business records, assigning jobs to technicians, and creating documents such as invoices.
• To manage your account and subscription and to unlock the features of your plan.
• To send push notifications and service messages, for example about new or changed jobs, upcoming AMC visits, or important account updates.
• To provide support, keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your business records for advertising.

5. Where your data is stored

Your account and business data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on servers run by Supabase and its cloud infrastructure partners. These servers may be located outside the UAE and India. We use reasonable contractual and technical safeguards when data is transferred across borders.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes your payment under their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not receive your card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and an app user identifier from the store, so we know which plan is active on your account.

7. Push notifications

With your permission, AmcPal sends push notifications through Apple's and Google's push notification services. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

8. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run AmcPal:

• Service providers that host or support the service, including Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (app distribution, payments and push notifications) and Cloudflare (website hosting).
• Your own team: information in a business workspace can be seen by members of that workspace, according to their role.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
• Business transfers: if ZoltOps Technologies LLP is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

9. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. When the last owner of a business deletes their account, the business is scheduled for deletion. Other team members lose access straight away. 30 days later, the business and its data, including customers, jobs, AMCs, quotes, invoices, payments, attachments and logos, are permanently erased. Within those 30 days you can cancel the deletion by emailing support@amcpal.app. The only exceptions are records we must keep by law, such as tax or accounting records, and limited security logs.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app: open Settings and choose to delete your account. You can also email support@amcpal.app from the email address on your account. If you are the last owner of a business, deleting your account means the business is scheduled for deletion. Other team members lose access straight away. 30 days later, the business and its data, including customers, jobs, AMCs, quotes, invoices, payments, attachments and logos, are permanently erased. Within those 30 days you can cancel the deletion by emailing support@amcpal.app. See our Support page for step-by-step instructions.

Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your store account settings.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or limit some processing. This may include rights under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. To make a request, email support@amcpal.app. If your data was entered by a business that uses AmcPal (for example, you are one of its customers), please contact that business first. We will help them respond.

12. Security

We protect data with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and role-based permissions. No system is completely secure, so please keep your sign-in details private and tell us straight away if you think your account has been compromised.

13. Children

AmcPal is a business tool and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will also let account holders know through the app or by email.
